Compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
The National Western Stock Show and its entities (National Western Complex (nationalwesterncomplex.com), Rodeo All Star Weekend (rodeoallstar.com), Denver County Fair (denvercountyfair.org), Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale (coorswesternart.com), Honoring The Legacy Campaign (honoringthelegacycampaign.com) take Personal Data Protection very seriously. Although we are not obligated to follow the CCPA Guidelines as a Non-Profit Organization, we still wish to offer our California Consumers the highest level of comfort, safety, and security, when doing business with us. CCPA and GDPR share many attributes and requirements, so we have combined both Policies to establish our General Personal Data Protection Policy, which enhances coverages beyond the scope of either Policy individually.
This website has different sub-sites for National Western Stock Show products, services, and events, which may also have their own privacy statements. Please read these if you visit our sub-sites.
When we collect your personal data
If you decide to contact us or make use of personalized services (e.g., by subscribing to a newsletter, filling out a form or by setting your personal preferences for webcast services), then you will be asked to submit the limited personal data which is necessary for us to provide that service or handle your query. Facebook conversion pixels
We use the “Custom Audience pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) on our website. With its help, we can keep track of what users do after they see or click on a Facebook advertisement. This enables us to monitor the effectiveness of Facebook ads for purposes of statistics and market research. Data collected in this way is anonymous to us, which means we cannot see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook can connect this data with your Facebook account and use it for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Policy which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, google.com(“Google Analytics” or “Google”). Google Analytics employs cookies that are stored to your computer in order to facilitate an analysis of your use of the site. Who do we share your personal data with and where does it go?
At no time do we sell any Personal Data Information.
Any transfer of personal data to this site will be secured by encryption. We may store or transfer your personal data to our corporate database for internal use in the future. We do this under our group-wide Data Protection Policy, which guarantees an adequate level of data protection wherever your data is physically kept.
We also use the services of third-party service providers to host our webcasts and offer technical support. Any third-party provider we appoint must act in accordance with our written instructions when processing your personal data and must protect your personal data in line with the contractually required security measures. Where we store or transfer your personal data to a third-party provider based outside the European Economic Area, we take steps to ensure your personal data is adequately protected.
We have the right to disclose your personal data as required by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, request from a regulator or any other legal process served on National Western Stock Show and it’s listed entities. If there is a takeover, sale or purchase of our business, we may disclose your personal data to the new (or prospective) owner of the business.
How long do we keep your information?
We will only hold your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, before making it non-identifiable or deleting it. Some personal information is governed by other laws and regulations that have mandated periods of retention, and may not be deleted until the required retention period has expired. (Financial Institution mandates, Local, State and Federal Government Agency Regulations.)
If you send us any ‘contact us’ messages, we will delete or de-identify these messages once we have finally satisfied your inquiry, or met the compliance requirements related to the data.
If you choose to unsubscribe from a service, we will keep a ‘suppression list’ containing your details so we know you have unsubscribed.
Your rights, complaints and how to contact us
Consumers have the right to request disclosure of their personal information, and to receive additional details regarding the personal information collected and its use purposes, including any Third Party information which is shared, and with the identity of the Third Party the information was given to.

Once a verifiable Consumer Rights Request as described in Cal. Civ. Code 1798.140(y), has been received and validated, we will provide a response within 45 days of receipt. A full explanation regarding the request will be given the Consumer. Consumers are allowed 2 requests with-in a 12 month period.
If you are a person governed by CCPA, you also have the right to raise a privacy concern with the Data Protection Authority established in your state. However, please consider using our CCPA-approved complaint resolution mechanism by using the contact mechanism listed above, and defining your issue, and the desired resolution to the problem. In response to a request for disclosure, once identity has been verified and validated, we will provide you with the requested Personal Information in a format that is convenient and assessable, and easily transferrable from one entity to another. The format required must be specified at the time a request for information is made.
At no time does the National Western Stock Show Complex or its entities discriminate against a consumer because they have exercised their rights.
